Description

We present natural geranium leaf hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the plant species Geranium macrorrhizum. The species is known outside the country under the name Geranium Leaf natural hydrolate for perfumery. The glandular hairs on the leaves produce the volatile substances, and the subcuticular cavity beneath them retains them until the finished distillate is extracted from the raw material. The starting material remains fresh and includes the leaves together with their stalks. Steam carries the volatile fraction without changing its ratio, which is why the finished liquid fully reproduces the profile of the leaf tissue. The color ranges between light yellow and greenish. The liquid form does not change during storage. The aroma has a soft intensity. Herbal, warm and slightly sweet tones build the aromatic picture. Citronellol and geraniol lead among the aromatic constituents, while citronellyl formate and linalool complement their common direction. Monoterpene alcohols and esters define the profile of the species, as precisely these groups of substances predominate in the leaf fraction of this plant species. The Geraniaceae family groups the species among its related genera, while the fields in Bulgaria are maintained naturally. Natural cultivation determines the pure composition, as added preservatives and colorants are absent. The soft scent of geranium leaf hydrolate stems from the ratio between the monoterpene constituents, and the aqueous base distributes them evenly throughout the entire volume. The leaf tissue gives the liquid both the greenish component of its color and the herbal direction of its scent. The final liquid combines its natural origin with the leaf raw material and with the soft herbal character of its scent.

Storage

Store natural geranium leaf hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.

Attention !!!

Please use the hydrolate according to the instructions and follow the safety recommendations. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if an allergy such as redness or irritation occurs. We recommend performing an allergy test before use.
